JUNE 2009

Gemstone gets Reserve Champion!

What a pair! Kaitlyn Dalcourt guides Gemstone to bigger heights, challenging her through twists and turns, up hills and down banks, in the Child/Adult Jumpers at the June Ashland Silver Show, placing them overall with a well deserved Reserve Champion title.

Congrats Kait and Gem! Stellar Performance!

MAY 2009

Our Oldenburg jumper mare, Gemstone, competed in her first jumper show (Hopeful Jumpers) with Kaitlyn Dalcourt at the NNEP in May, after three years off as a broodmare while recovering from an injury. They completed the courses beautifully, but this team is so efficient, they had speed penalties which put them in 5th place.

Spectacular effort for her first time back out in so long!

APRIL 2009

MEET ABBA!

Our Hanoverian mare, Licorne, blessed us on Easter day with a beautiful baby girl by the Hanoverian Stallion Abke. This good sized filly is extremely well put together and shows effortless movement like she's dancing on a cloud. Her personality has stolen the hearts of everyone who visits her. Look for her at the local Breed Shows with handler Ronnie Davidson.

PARTY, PARTY, PARTY @ FOUR LEAF FARMS!

We had our annual barn celebration on September 20, 2008, held in our arena. Everyone had a great time chatting, eating, dancing and drinking. Thanks to the hot local band "Starfire" who provided live entertainment for the evening. Thanks to Jenna's dad for lending us his awesome BBQ (a vintage firetruck restored as a BBQ on wheels). Most of all, thanks to all our boarders who make Four Leaf Farms what it is today - you guys are awesome!

SUMMER 2008 NEWS

Four Leaf Farms is proud to present the latest additions from our broodmares Mollymawk and Gameela.

In June our TB (Selle Francais approved) broodmare Mollymawk gave us a big bay colt by the Selle Francais stallion Ilian de Taute. This little man did not have an easy beginning to his life. At three days old, mom and baby were shipped to Ste-Hyacinthe Veterinary Hospital. Joey was suffering from a bladder infection and had to have surgery. Despite this rough start, both are doing fantastically well. Joey is super friendly with people and is already on his way to becoming a big strong fella.

Joey holds a special place in our hearts.
Thank you to all who helped Joey survive! XOXO

In July our Canadian Warmblood (CSH approved) maiden broodmare Gameela foaled a chestnut colt by the Hanoverian stallion Rotspon. This little boy is bright and active and pretty flashy with his wide blaze and two stockings. Gameela has turned out to be a wonderful mom. This is Four Leaf Farms first second generation homebred foal and we couldn't be happier with the result. Gameela is in foal to the Hanoverian stallion Abke for a 2009 foal.

Congratulations to Erin Mackintosh - proud new owner of Rory (Rotkonig)!

Four Leaf Farms' Hanoverian broodmare Licorne made her debut in the dressage ring on July 12th at Starlit Farms Silver Dressage Show. Her very first test yielded a 60% for a second place ribbon in the Training Test One AA Class. Despite a few wobbles she earned a score of 58% and fifth place in the Training Test Two AA Class. Watch out for this beautiful lady when she gets her act together! Licorne is in foal to the Hanoverian stallion Abke for a 2009 foal.
